We are rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a seasoned Sr. Director of Real Estate to lead and build a high-performing sales team that will drive our growth across national markets.
Role Overview:
The Real Estate Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Sr. Director of Real Estate by assisting with sales strategy, portfolio growth, and day-to-day management of real estate transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their real estate career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate, business development, and team management within a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development Support
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying new commercial real estate opportunities (landlords, developers, and tenants) in strategic U.S. markets.
- Relationship Management: Support the Sr. Director and sales team in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, real estate brokers, developers, and corporate tenants.
- Sales Collateral: Prepare presentations, pitch decks, proposals, and other sales materials that highlight the value of W&M's real estate solutions.
Market Research & Strategy
- Market Analysis: Conduct research on potential new markets, identifying key players, trends, and opportunities to support market entry strategies.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and report on trends in the commercial real estate sector to inform sales strategies.
Transaction Support
- Negotiation Assistance: Assist the Sr. Director in negotiations by preparing documents, tracking key metrics, and organizing contract details.
- Due Diligence: Support the team in reviewing and analyzing properties, leases, and other documentation for new potential spaces.
Portfolio & Performance Tracking
- Portfolio Monitoring: Help track the performance of W&M's growing real estate portfolio, ensuring timely updates and reports on occupancy, leasing activity, and financial performance.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular performance reports for internal stakeholders, providing insights on key metrics, opportunities, and risks.
Team Collaboration
- Cross-Department Support: Work closely with the Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment between the real estate strategy and broader company goals.
- Sales Enablement: Provide support to the sales team by managing leads, follow-ups, and administrative tasks, enabling the team to focus on closing deals.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years in commercial real estate, business development, or a related field (experience in sales or client-facing roles a plus).
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate markets and leasing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with experience in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) a plus.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: (depending on location and experience) base salary plus commissions & targets bonus, along with the opportunity for equity
