Overview:
At Measurabl, the Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting related tasks and will be cross trained with other core accounting functions to provide adynamic accounting experience. We are a technology company and seek opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to solve for the core operational functions of the business, and welcome feedback or suggestions to expand this capacity. Experience with technology as well as the ability to rapidly learn new skill sets, maintain organization, and demonstrate communication skills will allow you to be successful in this role.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
General Accounting:
● Prepare and record advanced monthly journal entries
● Reconcile selected balance sheet accounts
● Review and approve staff accountants journal entries
● Review and approve selected account reconciliations
● Prepare financial analysis and reports
● Provide support/backup during annual audit periods
● Review and approve bank wires
● Review and approve ACH payments
● Prepare workpapers and support for tax filings both USA and international
● Over see sales tax filing including backup filings, registering for sales tax accounts, and setting up Avalara
● Filing annual reports
● Managing and overseeing tax notices
● Develop and maintain tax calendar
● Managing Finance incoming mail
● Ad-hoc projects as requested as it relates to core duties
● Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting
● 4+ years of experience working in an Accounting department
● 3+ years of experience in sales tax and corporate tax
● Experience in the technology industry a plus
● Ability to work with little supervision
