Join Digital is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to support the Company’s network along with other related support activities. This is a full-time position in our Campbell office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a startup environment, works independently and takes initiative that is in the best interest of Join.
What you’ll do…
- Provide day-to-day technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- On-boarding tasks: provision accounts, and assign and ship laptops as needed; train employees on the basic tools available to them
- Off-boarding tasks: de-provision accounts, receive laptops, create backups, wipe computers
- Track IT Assets in SnipeIT (Serial Numbers, Disk Encryption Keys, License Keys)
- Administer and keep track of all software assets and subscriptions
- Configure and provision MacOS and Windows laptops
- Wipe and reinstall OS for de-provisioned laptops
- Install, repair and modify computer hardware and software
- Act as administrator for Google Workspace and various SaaS apps
- Spec and purchase computer equipment, and accessories
- Manage video conference rooms (Zoom Rooms)
- Manage Enterprise Endpoint Protection
- Manage computer backups
- Manage Intune MDM (Windows) and Mosyle MDM (MacOS, iOS)
- Maintain printers, toner inventory, and printer network connection
- Research, evaluate and experiment with new systems, technologies and software.
- Create and maintain documentation and tutorials for IT related tasks
- Help with local network infrastructure such as physically connecting network switches, Access Points, and firewalls together
- Help with SSL certificate renewals
- Help with managing the internal NAS
- Handle DNS changes and domain name migrations
- Take the lead in any facility move
You are qualified if you …
- Have a BS in CS, SWE or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant computer information systems experience
- Can troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems
- Can help solve end-user workstation problems
- Can support and train end-users in a wide range of SaaS applications as needed
- Can read, understand, and apply technical documentation
- Are comfortable with MacOS, Windows
- Have experience with either Google Workspace Administration / GSuite or Office 365 Administration.
- Have experience with basic networking: DNS (A, MX, NS, and CNAMES records), Private IPs, VPNs, domain name migrations. Routers, switches, APs and WiFi setup
- Are familiar with Linux Operating Systems
- Are familiar with basic Linux shell commands
- Are familiar with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and an iOS/macOS related MDM
- Are familiar Microsoft Intune
- Are familiar with Windows disk imaging software
- Are familiar with Atlassian Confluence and Jira
You are perfect if you also…
- Have experience with setting up SAML 2.0 SSO authentication
- Have some experience writing PowerShell, bash, shell, or similar scripts
- Have some experience with docker and docker-compose
- Are familiar with LDAP
- Are familiar with pfSense firewall
- Are familiar with network packet capture software
- Are familiar with setting up mobileconfig for macOS MDM
- Are familiar with AV Equipment
- Are familiar with computer components (RAM, SSD, CPU, GPU, etc.)
- Have a strong computer networking and network management background.
- Have startup company experience
- Are customer focused and enjoy working in a team environment
- Can locate required software or partnerships, or identify new software to implement
- Have ability to perform multiple tasks
- A good sense of humor is valued
