About the Role
We are excited to add a Partnership Lead to our team! This newly created role will report to our Founder/CEO, and will be responsible for building strategic partnerships that will continuously drive pipeline growth and create new opportunities. We’re looking for someone who has managed efforts to discover, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements with both established energy industry leaders as well as up and comers. Other responsibilities include though are not limited to:
- Create and execute partnership strategies that support business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Deliver research and analysis to assess and prioritize partnership opportunities, considering market alignment, potential synergies, and revenue or growth prospects.
- Pursue and vet potential partners, introduce contractual terms, finalize deals and establish partnerships, collaborating with other Elephant teams like Marketing, Sales, Project Management, and Finance as needed.
- Own the onboarding and enablement of new partners, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support to effectively promote and sell Elephant’s solutions.
- Engage with local and industry groups to advocate for Elephant Energy’s interests and business, for example EEBC in Colorado.
- Lead ongoing monitoring and optimization of partner performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Actively perpetuate an inclusive, equitable, collaborative working environment in which psychological safety comes first. ie
About You
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, partnership development, sales, or related roles in the energy sector, with solar and/or electrification experience a plus
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue and growth.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams with indirect influence (e.g., dotted line management, partner management, or client management)
- Superior communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with partners at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex partnership opportunities and develop strategic solutions.
- Willingness to travel to partner meetings, industry events, and conferences. While the travel schedule will vary, it should be expected that travel could be up to 2-3 trips per month

Location
- While this position is posted in Denver and Boston, Elephant Energy’s positions can be fully remote and you can work from home. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role does require that you are based or can consistently work within +/- 3 hours of Mountain Time Zone/in the US.
- We are a Hybrid company primarily based and looking for candidates in Mountain Time Zones.
- We have Herdquarters in Broomfield, CO and have a hybrid workforce, if you are located within 30 miles of Denver. If you are remote, your working hours can be based on your own timezone and all team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.
- Semi-annual team meetings require travel to Denver, CO.

Total Compensation
- Annual base salary of $110,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience and in line with internal compensation bands
- Stock options, commensurate with experience and in line with internal equity bands
